What I’m all about

I like copy that’s clear, sharp and succinct. I love a well-shaped sentence, with a rhythm that says almost as much as the words do. And I adore the pursuit of the perfect phrase – that’s the real pleasure of copywriting.

I believe that great copywriting is really an act of empathy. Writing can be warm and bouncy, elevated and minimal, or authoritative and direct. But whatever the tone and target, it’s about understanding people deeply: anticipating their needs, answering their unspoken questions and showing that you get their wants and concerns.
